Very good piece of work perhaps more suited to the metal section rather than general rock but anyway quite nice playing and i do look forward to hearing more of your stuff

i gave it a 4 outta 5 because although i reall liked the track i felt it needed to have some vocals on it to justify the lenght of the song as it felt dragged out in parts

still a really good track tho and i can see what you were going for with the epic instrumental keep up the good work ;D

Pretty cool metal track and i think your voice suited the music perfectly and i agree with the guy below it does have a very hetfield sound to it which is cool :D

however i think you have some sort of reverb or something on the voice or some effect? it is annoying a little bit just clean vocals wouldve been much cooler

Oh, trust me, it needed all the distortion, echo and reverb I could lay to the vocal track in order for it to work in some way. There was another reason for that, apart from my lack of brutal singing skills. for this, I was using a dynamic mic, cause the whole project was somewhat hasted and mostly for fun.

If you notice, I didn't even ask the guitarist to double-track his part. It's the most mono sounding thing I've ever done... Nor did I Eq too much. And I didn't even master it! I think I only had a maximizer on the output... The recordings were done in 20', right after a more serious 5 hour recording session for another song (not actually posted on NG). It's all fun fun fun!!!

Well, journalism or rather the lack of ethics in it is an obsession of mine. We tend to get our information from people that aren't educated on the matter they report on, but simply a bit more knowledgeable about it than we are, while their goal is to create an impression, rather than inform. Money makes the world go 'round, but some people should start feeling the moral obligation their profession comes with. War reporting should be something that goes straight to history books, rather than eye watering paperback novels.

only came across this as i seen your review on someone else's music talking about doin porduction and post prod on their stuff if they wanted so i thought you must be quite good at it if your offering to do it

and i must say the sound didnt disappoint at all. This is an absolutely brilliant cover of an extremely catchy kiss song very well done and also has a much more jazzy twang to it than the original

overall its very good and high quality sound

The long nights are always worth it! But the production has to done in the morning! If I has a few more mornings and clear ears, I'm sure it would have been even better. But the thing is that you always hear stuff you know you could have corrected some time after delivering, but that's life... "Mea culpa", and let's move to the next one. ill just quote another review "Man, make a fucking album!!! The quality of your stuff is always amazing and sounds like it's been done in a studio. You're definately the best guy on this site for getting an excellent guitar sound.
